Location in Bruges
The Bauhaus is located in the old city centre of Bruges, a short walk through the medieval streets from the central market square.
By Train: If you are travelling to the Bauhaus from the train station, take a right after exiting the building and look for the bus stop that serves service 6 or 16. These buses arrive every 10 to 15 minutes. Once onboard, just ask the driver who will tell you which stop you take for the Bauhaus. Tickets can be bought on the bus.
By Car or Coach: As you enter the Old City from the circular road around Bruges, navigate to the old Kruispoort (Cross Gate). This is the medieval entry gate to Bruges, next to the windmills on the city ramparts. The Bauhaus is 200 meters further along from here, on the right hand side.
Parking: The Bauhaus has public car parking at the rear however if these spaces are full, there are plenty of free parking possibilities in the area. We can allocate a free Blue Zone parking disk to guests at reception. This is good for four hours of parking, every time you set the disk to your arrival time.
